About Me

I am a confident and committed African American man pursuing a career in journalism. I am attending graduate school at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, looking to earn my master’s degree in sports journalism. I’m also a digital sports reporter at Cronkite News. 

 

What motivates me in life is my parents. They sacrificed a lot for my siblings and me to grow up in this country, let alone experience life at one of the best journalism schools in the country. Because of what they have instilled in me, I try my best to make the most out of every opportunity I have.

 

My greatest strengths are my adaptability and resolve. I try to embrace adversity and respond in situations that are less than ideal. I believe adversity is something that is inevitable in life - something that is also applicable to situations in this industry.
